Sectors #

General #

1. Handoffs to CZEG are automated
2. All handoffs to sector 10 shall be done using automated handoffs and be instructed to squawk 2000 prior to communications transfer
3. ANC arrivals should be on an arrival and descended along that to the extent possible prior to handoff with Central Area
4. Handoffs to UHMM or ZAK shall be done via direct message or voice at least 10 minutes prior to boundary crossing with communications transfer over a fix, NAVAID, or filed waypoint at or prior to the boundary unless otherwise coordinated or directed by LOA
5. When High Area is closed, sector 63 shall combine with 3/13 and sector 69 shall combine with 9

Sector 3 #

1. TAL arrivals should receive a pilot’s descent to 11,000 prior to handoff with sector 15
2. ANC arrivals should be on an arrival and be descended along that prior to handoff with sector 5 or 6
3. BET arrivals should be at or below FL300 appropriate for the direction of flight prior to handoff with sector 13

Sector 4 #

Sector 15 #

1. ANC arrivals should be on an arrival crossing the boundary at or below FL350
2. FAI area arrivals entering the FAI TRACON must enter the airspace:
   1. Crossing the western boundaries at 7,000
   2. Crossing the northern boundary at 8,000
   3. Crossing the southern or eastern boundary at 10,000

Sector 16 #

1. CYXY arrivals should be an airway
2. FAI area arrivals entering the FAI TRACON must enter the airspace:
   1. Crossing the western boundaries at 7,000
   2. Crossing the northern boundary at 8,000
   3. Crossing the southern or eastern boundary at 10,000
